However, I have heard that photo engraving did originate in Italy. It was originally etched into gold. Occasionally I see people that have had a piece done by us or others and they proudly show us there pendant. I can see the love and comfort it provides them with. I often wear my piece with my two children on it, and it always brings a smile to my face.
